It's great! When it works... Just had to set up a new printer with printanywhere. What a nightmare. Not my first drama with this app. I guess that's the world of open source. OP will never take responsibility and blame Dev for keeping up with them, Dev will always blame OP for making changes. Can't win I'm afraid.
It's neat and very useful to monitor ongoing prints. I just wish my internet access was fast enough to actually utilize camera streaming.
Stopped getting any sort of notifications since last update... Edit-Has been fixed as dev said! Although it does not give us percentage like b4, it gives you notification at every quarter percent.
The controls for this app are really good. However, the notifications no longer work correctly after the most recent update. No matter what I do it will not send a message when the print is done, which is the most important one... The notification settings will also change them selves back to every 10%, but it still won't send a print completed notification. Tried to contact the developer but got no response. Still using it, but had to switch to a different plugin for notifications.
Absolutely excellent and we'll worth the money. The only thing I would change is to make the floating camera button more sticky so that it doesn't disappear when the app is closed, but that's just me being picky.
Best Octoprint controller on Android. Note: Just refreshing my review so every sees it's still true.
Used to be a great app. Now unusable and deeply irritating. After a server side update some weeks back, my phone / tablet goes into notification meltdown whenever there is a status change on the print. It's so bad, the only solution was to disable all notifications or uninstall the app I contacted the developer and after a few days an update was provided. It did not fix it. I contacted the developer again, but have heard nothing in several weeks. App now uninstalled.
The app is okay but I really hate that the latest version sends a notification every 2-3 seconds for about a minute when my printer status changes. Other complaints have developer replies saying the latest version fixes the problem, but as of 2/28/2022 on Pixel 5 the latest version still spams notifications. This has happened over a month. Hard to justify paying for premium in its current state if these bugs still exist when the developer says they've been fixed.
Fantastic app with great functionality, but the Wear OS feature is not working on my Galaxy Watch 4 (just get an connection error/time-out).
